I Organization of information

en.rhonealpes.fr is a site which is organized around three headings:

Discover Rhône-Alpes offers an introduction to the geographical entity of Rhône-Alpes.
International issues explains international policies by area of activity
The Regional Council explains how the institution operates

These three headings can be accessed from the central horizontal navigation bar at the top of each page.

Clicking on any of the headings proposed will give you access to a menu on the left-hand side of the page containing the sub-headings.
All these headings and sub-headings can be found in the site map, accessible at the bottom of the screen.

IV Compliance with standards

The site of the Rhône-Alpes Region was designed from the time of its creation to respect the standards in force relating to HTML, style sheets and JavaScript. We take continual care to maintain a high level of quality on this site. However, due to the extremely dynamic and lively nature of the site, it is possible that some elements may accidentally become temporarily damaged or spoiled.
Should you discover any such defect, do not hesitate to contact us to inform us of the fact. We shall then endeavour to rectify the matter as quickly as possible to the best of our ability.

 

V User-friendliness and accessibility

The Rhône-Alpes Region wishes its site to be as user-friendly as possible. This means that we aim to enable the widest possible access to the information shown on the site. We have thus been led to do our best to apply a large number of accessibility recommendations, in particular:
The images are accompanied by explanatory alternative texts
Colour contrasts must be sufficient for easy legibility
You can navigate in the pages by using keyboard shortcuts
The pages are correctly structured and uniform
Navigation aids on the page are provided
The opening of new windows is limited as much as possible and the user is given prior warning
Furthermore, you can increase or diminish the size of the text and enhance contrast by accentuating the colours, using the icons provided for the purpose at the top of the central zone of each page:

Here again, current events in the Rhône-Alpes Region make the site highly dynamic: if you detect any errors, please do not hesitate to let us know, when we will try to rectify them as quickly as possible.
The current version of the Internet site of the Rhône-Alpes Region was designed to correspond to the maximum number of points in the standard WCAG-1.0 of the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) of W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).
Some zones of the site are outside the scope of this at present, the videos in particular.
